RN to BSN Programs in Ontario

In 2005, Ontario introduced a requirement that registered nurses (RNs) must earn a four-year bachelor's degree in nursing--either a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or a Bachelor of Nursing (BN). Although already licensed nurses were not required to earn a bachelor's in nursing, many RNs have opted to advance their education and earn a degree, according to the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario.
